Financing assistance could include the following options:
- The HADC has a Land Acquisition Financing Program that finances 75% of the total land cost over a negotiated period of time. A 25% down payment at the time of closing is required and the HADC will finance the 75% balance at 0% interest.
- The HADC has a Revolving Loan Fund up to $75,000 at 4% interest, which can be used for land acquisition or machinery and equipment purchase.
- The City of Hartford offers a Revolving Loan Fund that amounts to $20,000 per new job with a ceiling of $200,000 at 4%.
- Washington County also offers a Revolving Loan Fund of $100,000 at 4% to be used for land acquisition, equipment and machinery purchase or placement, or it can even be used as a line of credit.
- We will connect you with SBA loan specialists at local banks.
- Our team is constantly in contact with state and federal agencies, keeping watch for new funding opportunities, State economic development funding, conventional local financing and community sponsored Industrial Revenue Bonds, alerting business to a variety of options.
