Betsy Falk is a labor economist, who has experience working for public companies in technical and training positions and teaching at technical colleges. Now, as part of the Wisconsin Office of Economic Advisors, she provides Southeast Wisconsin labor information to businesses and individuals.

Betsy returns to Workforce Development to discuss the latest economic indicators of our local and regional labor market.  The presentation covers past, present and projected labor market information including employment and unemployment data for our area.  Betsy will also discuss changes in local industries, occupations and workforce demographics.

Schenke Workshop – The 2010 Tax Update

The 2010 Tax Update (Milwaukee)

This workshop will cover any new tax laws passed in 2010 that impact small businesses and their owners, along with ways to take advantage of the new laws or ways to mitigate the consequences. The workshop will also cover various tax planning strategies for small businesses and their owners. The time to impact the tax you pay is before the end of your tax year, not when you file your tax return.

Our presenters will be members of Schenck’s tax team: Joseph Schirger, Jr., CPA, Manager; and Robert Freese, CPA, Supervisor.

Date & Location:
The session will run from 7:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. with Q&A session to follow. Registration will begin at 7:00 a.m.
